The other day I took a bath, something I hadn’t done in years. Seems like there’s less and less time for the little things these days.
As I was soaking I kept staring at different parts of my body and realized, “Wow, there’s no one else in the world that looks like me.” Being alone, naked in the water, in that moment, I’ve never felt more vulnerable yet strong.
There’s no body else that has the exact same features as I do. The folds, moles, birthmarks, dimples, scars, stretchmarks. We all have them yes, but no one has them the way that I do.
I am unique.
We should all spend less time trying to look the same as everyone else and instead embrace our differences, our uniqueness.
We should try to enhance and bring out what is one of kind in us.
That is what makes us all special.
Love what’s different about you because no one else has it but you.
